How can I get a dark color to my chocolate fondant. Like an expresso color? I tried adding brown coloring and black icon_sad.gif

I use lots and lots of color. this is the only way i get a rich dark color. Sometimes, if I can get away from it, i use tootsie rolls instead of fondant to do little accent pieces. not only does it look good but it tastes great. Im adding a pic where I did this. hth

the Satin Ice chocolate is very dark brown if you're able to purchase some.

The Satin Ice chocolate tastes pretty good too, as does the Duff brand (even though it's super expensive--I've found it to be VERY easy to work with!)
