I need some info on frosting sheets as I have just started to use my printer and am new to this. The printer works great and the "frosting" came off of the backing wonderfully, but even though I placed the picture on the cookie immediatly after frosting(while the frosting was still wet), it still looked like a piece of paper on top of my cookie. I tried both royal and buttercream frostings. Is it just me or do they all look like that? I was expecting it to "melt" onto the frosting as opposed to sitting on top.

It will become part of the icing, the sheet blends but doesn't really disappear.. I use them on RI all the time and I usually gently pat the icing sheet down around the edge with the wooden top of a paintbrush so it lays flat. You can usually see the edge of frosting sheet, that's where I put my border. Just FYI, It's also my experience if I put a colored border on the frosting sheet it bleeds, I try to put it close but not on it.
