Hi
I'm needing some help with how to place roses so they trail down the cake. I've made my roses but am debating how to put them on the cake. I'm wondering do i cut the wire and use royal icing to place the roses on the cake or a combination of both...use the wire as an anchor and the royal icing as the glue?
any suggestions would be great

If you google.......attaching roses on cake cake central........a bunch of CC threads show up on this topic. Hopefully you can get some good ideas this way.

you can wind the wires around a skewer and then stick them in the cake....you can dip the wires in melted chocolate and when dry stick in the cake or into a coffee stir type straw.......hth
I make my roses on a large club sandwich type tooth pick and just stick them in where I like....remember they are sometimes heavy and will tug at the cake.
