I haven't used the Wilton one, but I do have one. And it is NOT easy to use! I have a very hard time getting the dough to come out perfectly. It takes a special touch, that's for sure!

I have not used the Wilton cookie press however I do have the Pampered Chef cookie press and really like it. I can use all my cookie dough with no problem.

It could be the dough. I've only used spritz cookie dough which is specifically for cookie presses, It's the only dough I've used for 20 years!

I had a really hard time with the wilton cookie press... never could get it to work like I wanted it to. I purchased one from williams sonoma, and it's fantastic! well worth the money.

Those spritzers seem like a lot of work (and cleaning!) for not a lot of cookie. Then there's the whole reload thing and air pockets. I often have looked. But then I think of all of the gadgets that I have used once, and this seems like one of those.

Are they really easier, better, more useful than scoops, rolling pins, and cutters? They can't possibly save time with refilling and cleanup.
