Here's the recipe that I found in the link above
Sturdy Doctored Cake Recipe
1 box cake mix (no pudding in the mix)
1 small box instant pudding in coordinating flavor
1 cup sour cream
1 whole large egg
3 large egg whites
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup oil (add one more TBS oil with chocolate)
Optional:
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
1 tsp almond flavoring
1 tsp butter flavoring
Sugarshack
you mention that you prefer betty crocker mix. your recipe states to use a mix with out pudding added. in my part of canada the betty crocker mixes have pudding added to them, not sure about any where else. do you think it will be ok to still use the betty crocker or should i try a brand w/o the pudding added to it.
thanks
sugarshack do you still add the pudding with the bc mixes even though it says it has pudding in the mix?
also, where do I get the wedding bouquet flavoring for your buttercream...
thanks Sharon,,,I am going to be in no next month are there any good cake supply shops I should check out? I'll be driving from houston or along the way?
