Sorry, what i meant was - (if the cake is filled with chocolate ganache and then fondant).........After it has been cut on the *party night* the rest of the cake is still great 3 days later - unlike some cakes that dry out after being cut.

Just wrap the *cut* part of the cake in glad wrap / saran wrap and it will be perfect for another 3 days.

Please don't put it in the fridge as the fine line between the ganache crumbcoat and fondant can go rather tacky - maybe its just me - but i hate that gooey taste.
