Hello!

Does the Italian Meringue Buttercream (Shirley's Method) crust?

I am currently trying to find a crusting buttercream that I like the flavour of., so I also welcome suggestions of your go-to crusting icings. I have used the Wilton style before, and am looking for a different buttercream. Preferably, a buttercream with actual butter in it, although I don't mind some shortening.

Thanks!
