I am planning to expand my business and looking at selling my cakes over the internet (ebay and from my website). I will like ideas from anyone who does this. All idea/suggestions relating to How to securely package cakes for postage will be highly appreciated

are you looking to ship decorated cakes? or bundt type cakes?

All i've ever heard is horror storries about shipping decorated cakes, they just can't handle all the transporting. The only successful transports of decorated cakes i've heard of is on a commercial flight and you have to have a seat for it, not in the baggage area.

i've heard of bundt cakes being packaged in tins and then wrap the tin in bubble wrap before putting in a box.
