i have used them before. I will use them more now, that i have nicholas lodge dvd on how to use them . It is his new dvd he had at the ices convention. i thoroughly enjoyed watching and learning from it. hth
I used the Basketweave Embosser to make this cake: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1657394
I very highly recommend it...it worked perfectly!
I was worried about trying to get a continuous pattern, but it turned out to be super easy!
yes, i do recommend them. marion frost has books on all the cutters and how to use them also.
I use these babys all the time! They really are worth the money, ive got almost all the xmas ones! they make it so easy, And give you alot of creative freedom when it comes to the colouring plus they look excellent once on the cake!
I definitely recommend the diamond side patterns and the rose patterns. I am about to do a course using the Xmas ones, too - can't wait!
They are time consuming to patch together (what isn't in cake decorating?!) but they are great for simple embossing too
I recommend them, they are wonderful to work with and can be used in many ways. But like mentioned before they are time consuming.
I also really like using them. I have to stop myself from buying ones that look neat, but I know I have no use for!

icer101, can you tell me about this dvd? How long is it and what kind of info does it cover? I love cake decorating dvd's, but I really like to get my money's worth!
Sheena- that is sooo cute and it looks very clean. So can u give me kind of an idea how to use them? Do u just push them into fondant or bc and then paint the color in or can u do it kind of like a cookie cutter seperate from the cake then glue it on where u like it?
Hope that made sense lol
