Need help badly. I was trying to make a birthday cake for my trekkie boyfriend. I wanted to put a 3d enterprise ship on top, 10 cm big, but no matter what I tried to make it from, it wouldnt stand right. I tried fondant and marzipan, but they were both too soft. I would like for it to be edible and still look right. Any suggestions what I could make it from?

Your best bet is going to be making the structure out of something like RKT, then covering it in either gumpaste or modeling chocolate.
