My Guitar Cake Complete...thank You!!!

After several posts for advice and after reading MANY tutorials on here, I finished my nephew's guitar cake. This was the most involved cake I've ever done and it completely kicked my but! It was my first time covering a cake in fondant, first time using RKT and first time carving something this size. It was a life size replica of his guitar!
There were so many things I wished I would have done, but all lessons for next time! But my nephew was blown away when he saw this thing (it was a surprise)!
Thanks to everyone for all your advice & help
Edit...ok I can't seem to post the pic, but hopefully the link will work:

and if you are interested here is a link to the actual guitar...completely crazy looking thing (sigh teenagers)!

Fantastic Job!!! and not to mention you also covered the cake in Black fondant - that's a huge task in it's self.
Nice job, you nailed it! I'm doing a replica of my son's guitar that he plays in his band as a surprise groom's cake for his wedding. Hope mine turns out as nice as yours!
Thank you everyone! There are so many things I learned from this cake. I had never covered a cake with fondant and I didn't have enough (I used Satin Ice). So I had some seams. Also, I was given the advice to use RKT for the "points" of the guitar. I completely forgot and then the weight of the fondant crushed the cake points after a few hours But again, I learned ALOT and am so grateful for the helpful advice and tutorials on here. I could never have accomplished this without it! I had intended to use angel hair for the strings, but forgot to bring royal icing with me. (I had to transport this thing almost 2 hours). I tried using floral wire but I couldn't pull it taught, so in the end I scrambled and used sewing thread! But my nephew and his teenage buddies were totally impressed
