I have quite a few accents to pipe on a cake (grass, sunflowers, etc), and I don't feel like fighting my tempermental SMBC.

What is the easiest/best decorator icing? Something that won't melt so easily and is stiff enough to make grass, etc.

Thanks!!

FOr that sort of stuff I'd use regular bc - crisp based will hold hold up to the heat in ur hand better than butter based.
For just a small batch I'd just do the basic traditional recipe 1 part butter/ crisco, 2 parts ps, liquid as needed.
