So I am driving an hour away to deliver 30 cupcakes for a wedding. So that they don't get too hot, they are frozen right now....should I frost them quickly and return them to the freezer until time to transport? Just trying to figure out how to make sure they are in good shape when we return.

You should be fine to take them out before you deliver. Make sure tey are covered int he freezer or else they will dry out.
