Glue Recipe Using Gum Tex?

anyone have one or no of one that I could make with ingredients I might have on hand?

Take some good hot water and put it in the container in which you want to keep your glue. Sprinkle some gum-tex on it and shake it up (if you have a lid for the container) or stir well and let sit--it make take an hour or so--until it becomes a gel. Add more gum tex or water to achieve the consistency you like. Cover to store. I refrigerate it if it's going to be awhile before I use it again.

Anyone know how much Water vs Gum Tex is needed?

If you use Tylose for it it's 2 Tbsp hot water to 1/4 tsp tylose, so try that to begin with.

Is it supposed to be sticky if you get it on your hands?  I touched it and it doesn't feel sticky at all. It does look kinda like liquid goop though.
