I found this website below that has pink and chocolate brown cake boxes as well as white boxes for cheap and you don't have to buy 100 of them. You can buy them individually! They sell the plastic cupcake containers individually as well and some other baking items like wax paper and things. I hope this helps someone out there...

Thanks for the info, I always order my cupcake containers from them, but never even thought about ordering cake boxes. I always buy 10x10 boxes by the case because I use a lot of them. But the other sizes I only need a few at a time and I'm always looking for great prices.

For cupcakes, plasticcontainercity.com has amazing plastic cupcake holders in single, 2's, 4's,6's and up. Best of all - NO MINIMUM orders! They also sell cake domes.

We use http://www.brpboxshop.com/ for cupcake boxes and inserts, they also have "skinny" mini-cupcake holders. They are the manufacturer of the boxes, so they sell direct, and they have free shipping. They don't carry plastic containers though, we use plasticcontainercity for those.

Actually there is a minimum...you must buy $25.00 worth of merchandise combined.

How much were you quoted for shipping?? I have bought from them before and they actually gave me discounted shipping since I am in Alaska. Very helpful and their products are great.

I just peeked at their site again (it's been a while) and I don't see anywhere that says shipping is anymore than w/e UPS is charging....

Thanks for posting that address. They carry a flavor of Torani Sugar Free Syrup that I want and it's on sale!

It was over $8 just to ship 24 of those containers, and I know those containers don't weigh very much.

I just saw that people were responding to my post.. for some reason I didn't get an email about it. I ordered a lot of products from them the other day and my shipping was only $11.00. And I order boxes, plastic containers and some wax paper. I think that is pretty good no more than what I pay any where else. Like Country Kitchen is $7.95 even if you order one thing. I can't pass up on the prices.. they are even cheaper than my local cake store.

I love brpboxshop. I got my free samples and love that they even do that! I'm in Canada so I don't get free shipping, but it still workouts to a LOT cheaper than buying in town. Plus I love their many different designs.

Most carriers have minimum shipping charges. For example, UPS would charge me ~$10 to ship a package across the country UPS ground, even if it weighed less than a pound.

Just like most bakers won't turn on their oven just to bake a single cupcake, shipping companies have a built-in minimum charge to cover the drivers and other overhead that has nothing to do with the weight of the package.

Thank you so much for posting this site! Your a life saver. I have been looking for chocolate brown boxes forever now. I never needed a whole (pay extra for custom colors) case, just a few and this sells them. I don't even mind the shipping. I just really want these boxes.

(I noticed this while on the site)...I know you can use the torani syrup like a starbucks syrup but what in the world do you put cupcake, cheesecake, peanut butter and other rare syrups in?

I use those syrups for flavors in WASC, I have a bunch of different ones and just swap out the liquid in the recipe for the syrup. The cakes come out great and my clients seem to love them.

I know this thread is quite a bit old, but I just came across it.  I've gotten containers from cuptainers.com and they have great prices!  I use the mini cupcake containers and I got 350 of them for $65!

Good luck everyone. :)

AI just stumbled across some cupcake bags and clear boxes today. I don't know if they are any good, but I have ordered other items from this company and have been happy with them. The pricing might be high for everyday use, but may be good if you want to offer display boxes.

Cupcake Bags (a cello bag with an insert to keep the cupcake upright.) http://www.clearbags.com/bags/food/cupcake/bag

Clear Cupcake Boxes-probably better for a presentation box. There is a neat looking one that is hexagonal. http://www.clearbags.com/bags/food/cupcake/box
