This recipe is using the WASC, it is from the Gormet flavors thread. I haven't used it myself.

Tiramisu Cake - Macsmom
WASC cake using 1 1/3 c tiramisu coffee creamer + 1 1/3 c water, 2 tsp vanilla + 2 tsp butter flavoring:
Espresso Syrup - MacsMom
2/3 c of water
1½ c PS
5 t instant coffee granules
**I added 2 T Kahlua for an amazing flavor!
In a small heavy saucepan over high heat, combine water, PS & coffee. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Let cool. Poke holes into cakes; brush with syrup.
Mascarpone Filling
1 c mascarpone cheese (from tub)
1/4 c sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons Kahlua (or coffee extract)
2 c whipped Frostin Pride

When I have done it in the past I used the filling and frosting from here:

I didn't do the coffee layers like they did in the recipe. I started with white cake and just used the coffee and coffee liquier syrup on it. I've also done a cake roll with the same idea. I also had to replace the cheese with cream cheese since I couldn't find any.

I think you could start with what ever cake you want to, though I would go with one that has a mild taste, and brush it quite well with the syrup. Then do the fillings and ice in whipping cream.
