Am leaning towards the kopykake air master. For those of u who have it can u plz give me ur personal experience positive or negative. I would-be using it to shade an entire fondant cake .

I have an Iwata airbrush and from personal experience I would like to warn you: when and if you purchase any airbrush and if you intend to color a whole cake - make sure that you purchase an airbrush with a color cup big enough, otherwise you will find yourself shading a little bit of the cake and in need to refill the cup many times until you are finished. A real bother! I was not aware of this when I purchased mine so I would want to pass on my experience. I just had a look at the Kopykake site and it looks like the bottomfeed double action model would be the ideal, it's another 50 dollars that you will not regret spending.

I have the kopycake airbrush, and I love it. It does have a small cup to put the paint on, but for me is better that way when I use several colors in a cake (most of the time). I really don't mind keep filling the little cup....

I have the kopycake airbrush and I love it too. I have had it for about 2 years now and it works great. I treat it like it is a queen, always cleaning, proper storage, etc. I have the smaller cup, but I believe you can just buy a separate gun with a larger cup if you feel like you need it later.

I have the airmaster too with the gun with the small cup on top. Refilling the cup takes seconds so dont let the small cup put you off. You'll need to do sweeping strokes to avoid build up of colour in areas, so sometimes your spray will be off the cake. this is when you can refill. Most of the time you will use your ab for smaller projects and literally only use one or 2 drops of colour in the cup, rarely will you cover a whole cake a solid colour with your ab. Go with the airmaster and small cup ontop of the airbrush gun.

I too have had Kopykake's airmaster for about 2 years. I love it!

we had that one in the bakery I used to work at & it was awesome! Never had any issues, very reliable machine. Refilling the small cup didn't really bother me that I can recall...

Thank you verrrrrrry much to everyone who responded to my post, all of ur responces were very helpful. As a result, I have finally ordered my Kopykake Airmaster with the large cup for an additonal $10. So wish me luck.
