Hi Karen!!

I have a sesame street cake coming up for a Hannah as well!! icon_smile.gif

I would like to incorporate blocks somehow and saw your cake in your photos. I'm wondering what the sesame characters are made out of... were they a candy mold or something and where did you find them?

Of if anyone else knows that would be great!! I am trying to use as little red and blue frosting as possible since it is a staining nightmare!! icon_lol.gif

or if anyone else knows what these are... here is the link to her pic..

Hi Scoobam,
It may be that she did those decorations in fondant. At least that is what it looks like. The link though that is in your post goes to the wrong picture.(I think that happens quite often) LOL I am going to try and paste the right link. But it may take you to the wrong pic too. ha ha icon_smile.gif
If she didn't do it in fondant, maybe you could? Just an idea.

Ugh.. hate when those links change on you!! icon_lol.gif

Thanks!

Yeah, maybe you are right... but how did she get the shapes of the faces and mouths so perfect do you think???

If it was freehand.. I'm outta luck!! icon_lol.gif I stink!

Edit: You know if I was to stop and use my brain for one second... I would realize that I could probably do it with pics off the internet and make the impression in the fondant somehow. DUH!!

I'm not for sure but it looks like cakes cut into blocks and iced with icing, figure piping for the faces, numbers and letters.
