Does anyone have a recipe for just a small batch of buttercream?

I just need enough to make some lava coming out of a volcano, a little bit of grass, enough to cover a few marshmallaows to look like rocks and pipe Happy Birthday.

I'm covering the cake in chocolate ganache, so don't need to make a full batch of BC.

TIA

I've make 1/2, 1/3 and even 1/4 batches of recipes I wanted to taste test.

If you have a favorite b/c recipe, perhaps you could do that.

If not, here's the basic Wilton recipe which yields 3 cups of frosting, but can easily be cut in half:

can you just divide your recipe by 1/2 or 1/4? (depending on how large your recipe is) I have done this often so i don't have so much left over.

Thanks, I think I will just half the Wilton BC, that one seems easier. icon_smile.gif
