Hi guys/gals,
I was hired to make a cake for a Jack & Jill party by a friend of the bride to be. She asked me if I can make a shortcake with strawberry filling. But the cake has to be decorated to look like a Tiffany & Co. box. I have a great strawberry filling recipe but I'm having a hard time finding a shortcake recipe that will be dense enough to hold up the weight of the fondant and other various decorations. Any advice???

Just make a standard butter cake.
