I'm trying to make chocolate mmf following Rhonda's Ultimate recipe and I forgot to adjust the PS for the cocoa. So my mmf is on the crumbly side rather than the pliable side. Is there any way to save it? I've tried to knead it and add in a little more crisco, but that's not helping. Any advise?

That's what I was thinking about doing, but I just envision a sticky gloopy mess. But I'll stick it back in the KA and give it a whirl. Thanks!

Try some corn syrup.

i think the same thing happened to me, but with a simple MMF recipe + cocoa ... just a few more melted MMs helped

I had the same problem and I just added 1/2 tsp at a time of water with LOTS of Crisco on my hands...its gonna be gooey but sure beats throwing it out.

I think I saved it! Melted some more marshmallows along with my already kneaded ball of chocolate fondant and added a little bit more corn syrup. Once it cooled a bit I kneaded it and added more PS sparingly. It still doesn't have the same consistancy as my usual MMF, but I think it will work for what I need. Luckily I don't need it to cover a cake, just to make some accents.

Thanks for all your help!
