I have a chance to buy a used sheeter and I'm looking for input from all of you regarding it. Do you use one? Is it a lot better than rolling out the fondant? I am just a small baker, but wondering if you've found them to be worthwhile.
Please let me know, I'm trying to make a decision.
thanks;
Jackie

I don't have one, but I have used one in some classes I've taken before. For me personally, I don't think it's something I'm ever going to truly want to buy. They are huge! They take up a lot of space, and I just don't mind rolling out fondant. Even for large cakes, I have no trouble rolling it out. I do on average of 2-4 large cakes a week, so maybe those who do mega volume of cakes get a lot of use out of it, but for me, I would spend my money on a whole list of other toys or tools first. Just my opinion though.
