I need some ideas for a luau theme cake. For the same customer, I have done a beach scene with surf boards and palm trees.

Any ideas for suggestions would be appreciated.

Ok, I know I'm going to give my origonal idea away, but next month I'm doing a cake for a luau themed birthday party. My cake design will be a surfing tiki man. You can use that if you want.

Look in my profile. I did one for my parents anniversary with 1/2 beach hand 1/2 water. I found tons of cute things on Sugarcraft, from swimmers to luau people, etc. I made a small volcano from an inverted bowl, red icing thinned down for lava, beach and water! It was pretty neat!

How about the hula dancers from the 2005 Wilton yearbook. It is basically the mini wonder mold pan, with the mini doll picks.
You could have a line of hula dancers on top of a cake.
Just an idea...good luck
