I was just reading another post about this ... sorry if I'm copying but I am also a member of the terrible pricing club. I would love some help with this. If you have a minute take a look at my pictures and tell me what you would charge or what you would pay for my cake. I am pretty sure I am always selling myself short but I feel like since I haven't taken classes and having been doing this very long I can't charge top dollar. I will check back in a day or so and tell you what I really charged for the cakes. THANK YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH!!

I too would like to know the sizes to better judge. As for the other items, it also depends on your location. Our detailed sugar cookies are $15-18 average a dozen but some people can get $3-5 per cookie. We would be laughed at and out of business!!

I look forward to seeing the sizes. Check out places around you for some basic going rates. Also look at your cost. Your cake are very pretty!

Your cookies are nice!!
I wonder how can you stay in business selling elaborate cookies for such a cheap price? I think the customer who is not willing to pay you should be laughed out of your store. JMO!

Ok ... I will give the sizes of a few ....

The caterpillar I used the sports ball pan and its 6 halves of that. I think it said it should feed approx 30.

The all whits wedding cake with snowflakes was to feed 60. I used a 10 8 and 6 inch pans double stacked with vanilla cream filling in each layer. Its all buttercream decorations.

The snowman is the same size as the wedding cake but has oreo cookie filling in the middle.

The german chocolate was a triple layer 9 in made from scratch

The cheerleader was a 1/2 sheet (I guess) with the sports ball pan as the girl parts icon_smile.gif Iced in buttercream and fondant accents.

The last minute baby shower cake was just a plain sheet cake decorated in buttercream

The yellow castle was an 10 and an 8 double layer all decorated in buttercream with paper towel holders for towers.

I guess thats enough info. Thanks for looking.
