This is my first attempt at MMF. I loved it. Easy to make and easy to work with. I have done 1 other fondant project and beginning to the love it!

It is beautiful. You should also post the front of the cake. I would love to see it. Great job on the string work.

I still have not managed the nerve to try working with fondant yet.

That is truly a beautiful work of art! I have heard that MMF is easier to work with than regular fondant-anyone care to comment on that??? Your stringwork is exceptional!!!

I feel that way about buttercream, LOL! My hand is not as steady as I would like it to be when doing ruffles/borders/etc. I could never have done the stringwork in the OP's picture. *Still* have not mastered the buttercream rose, although I am getting better. Maybe it would help if I could make it down to Phoenix for a class sometime ... everything I have done so far is self taught. Fondant is really easy to work with! YOUR CAKE IS BEAUTIFUL. I STILL HAVE NOT TACKLED FONDANT EITHER. I AM NOT SURE IF I REALLY WANT TO OR NOT. I TRIED WITH WILTON'S FONDANT AND IT WAS BAD. I GUESS THAT IS WHY I HAVEN'T TRIED THE MMF YET. MAYBE IT WILL BE DIFFERENT BUT I JUST DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO EXPERIMENT. HOPEFULLY WHEN THE KIDS GO BACK TO SCHOOL I WILL HAVE THE TIME.
