Thoughts On A Treehouse Cake For A Girl Who Likes Ballet?

I am making a cake next week for a little girl who is a "frilly tomboy." She is getting a treehouse for her birthday so her mom wants her to have a treehouse cake which is fine. But she also wants to include ballet in the cake too. I am thinking about sculpting a ballerina out of fondant/gumpaste and putting her at the base of the tree but I don't want it to look like I just plopped a ballerina in the middle of the forest. Any thoughts on how to incorporate girly things into a tomboyish cake? Thanks!
Maybe you could have some ballet slippers hanging in a window or resting at the base of the tree? Maybe the ballerina climbing into the house so she is a bit more incorporated in the design?
you could hand ballet slippers from tree branches and place some nutcrackers in the windows
I wonder if you could do an open treehouse with one wall missing so you could see inside, then maybe there would be a ballet studio inside: mirror, bar, some ballet slippers, hardwood floors.
I do like the idea of hanging ballet slippers from the branches too, you could do a few little pairs.
Or some little squirrels or birds in tutus? (A bit of a stretch maybe, lol)

That's cute! I don't think the treehouse is going to be able to be open because I am planning on it being cake rather than just gumpaste. Too bad, I really like that idea!
