I have viewed some lovely cakes that seem to be derived with help from the "Disney Princess Deco pak." Does anyone know where I can find this in Canada?

I have yet to see any of the kits sold here in Canada except for my local grocery store where about 2 years ago they started offering a "Signature" line of 3D birthday cakes with the deco pac kits but you have to order their cake. They will not sell the kit to you..Other than that you can order it online through several cake decorating sites and on Ebay.

Try phoning some grocery chains in your area. I was looking for the Disney Princess castle kit and a few Sobey's in Calgary said they would sell it to me. Just ask/call the bakery.

Jokerz,

That is nice to know because Co-op looked at me like I was crazy and said "No"...I can understand their point of view though..They want the cake order...not to sell the kits...

Thanks!

Yeah, I was surprised that they said yes. They don't sell it cheap though. I was told $20 on the phone then when I got there the manager said $25. The mom wasn't particular about Disney so I ended up buying the castle kit at Michaels with a coupon.

I recently bought a Disney princess decopac from Safeway (northwestern ontario). It came with 4 princesses, and was only $7.00!!!

I'm a decorator at a Safeway in Alberta....we DO sell our kits and they are 8$ each...same as an edible image. The manager that's selling them for 25$ a kit should be reported....that's NUTS. 8$ is an average price for all the kits....some are abit more...some are abit less....we get them 6 in a box from Decopac.
