So I am making a cake for my Italian grandfathers 95th birthday. I wanted to make a cake with cannoli filling but what do you all think would go best with cannoli? Or do you have any other yummy cake suggestions. I am thinking of making it 2 tiered and may do 2 types of cake. Thanks!!

Oh yummy yummy! :] I think it would go well with Sylvia Weinstock's Classic Yellow Cake! It's a very buttery tasting cake with a tang from the sour cream! If you google you can find the recipe!
