i have an edible image of the 3 stooges to put on the top of the cake, but what to do on the sides?

I was thinking a simple fleur de lis pattern...it's for a guy...so nothing girly.

Any ideas?

Is there anything in the picture that you could do? I once bought my dad a tshirt where the three were in golf-garb. He LOVED it.

If not that, maybe simple swirls? http://www.tomnidesign.com.au/store/images/PC371142 Diving Swirl.jpeg Or something even more simple that could work.

Good luck!

Keep writing "Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk" all around it?

I use an argyle pattern (diamonds cut of fondant & little lines to look like stitches ) for cakes that are for men. Men are hard to think if ideas for. Sorru don't have a photo, you can do a search. I bet you will find one if you like that idea.

Seriously (compared to my previous reply), I think I'd go around the photo with a shell border and around the edge of the cake with a shell border. this will leave a nice white frame around the picture. Put a few stars or dots in it .... even cornelli lace (in which case I'd do the lace before the borders).

I agree or you could make an ediable image banner with photos of them apply around side of cake and add shell borders
