How are the costco cupcakes? Just found out another coworker eloped yesterday while I was on vacation.

She loves costco cupcakes? Has anyone tasted it?

My Costco uses a purchased icing by Dawn Foods called But-R-Creme. They store big buckets of it under the packaged bakery goods, but I don't think they sell it to the public.

IMO their cakes aren't bad at all. They're better than the grocery stores anyway. And the chocolate mousse filling tastes awesome.

I actually think Costco and Bj's cakes, taste pretty good! They are always moist, the fillings are yummy and I dont' find the buttercream cloyingly sweet.

I special ordered to cupcakes with no decorations. I decorated the cupcakes with strawberries and rasberries.

She loved it and was so happy we gave her a party during lunch to congratulate her.

so, for those of you that buy But-R-Creme at Sams. Do you buy it from the bakery dept or is it hiding somewhere else in the store?
I want to try it out!

Bakery dept. They will sell everything they sell except tips and bags and other "equipment".

Thanks! I had asked them about their cake boards earlier and they were more than willing to sell them to me. What else do they have back there that might be fun to use? icon_lol.gif
I am off to find the ingredients of this stuff just to see what's in it before I buy it.
Have a great day!
