I am making a Dora and Diego cake this w/e. Would like to make "trees" using pretzel rods as the trunks with large leaves out of MMF. Any ideas?? How would I attach the leaves??? Thanks icon_smile.gif

You could use green royal icing or candy melts. Do you have access to tylose or gumpaste? I tried making trees like what you are planning using fondant and the leaves didn't dry well enough and actually softened when I tried to put them together. I tried again using gumpaste and they worked perfectly.
