ok, so this might be a dumb question, but when I'm mixing cupcake batter, so I use the whisk and switch to the paddle mid-way....or use the paddle the whole time??

use the paddle always. The only time I ever use the whisk is when I make merinque for Baked Alaska ... and that's so infrequent that I have to hunt and dig to find the whisk!

USE THE PADDLE- MIX ON LOW SPEED-LESS AIR BUBBLES IN BATTER.

I always use my paddle. The only time I use my whisk is when making whipping cream. icon_smile.gif

I don't even know where my whisk is, or even less so the dough hook....
