I need some help. I need to cover some cookies about 10 of them tonight. Cookies are already made. I need something that dries fast!!! I use Royal Icing (3 Tbsp Meringue Powder, 4 C Powder Sugar, 6 Tbsp water).

Any one of something that dries about 2-3 hrs????

Thanks!!!

I like using candy melts for covering my cookies. I melt them in a piping bag in the microwave and cover them. It also dries really fast and I like the taste on sugar cookies.

fondant or rolled buttercream should dry pretty fast.

In a time crunch the only 2 choices are chocolate or fondant as it says above.

I did some fondant covered cookies last night (at 10pm) And I was able to pack them when I woke up this morning..! What's fun with fondant is that you can make the "background" layer and immediatly do the detailing on top!
