I am looking for fancy alphabet stencils to put on a cake but cannot find the font I want. I have seen italic ones on ebay which is my second choice if I can't find the ones I want. I want the ones where the ends of the letters curl, does anyone know what this font is called and where I can find the stencil?
What you are looking for sounds like the funky letter tappits. If you look in my pix, I used those for Bella's purse cake. If that's what you're looking for, you can find them at GSA.
you and me, Bob, you and me, thinking on the same track.
Yeah Baby!
I found the script monogram stencils from global sugar art but it does not contain the '&' sign. I don't really want to pay all that money and then have the dilema of finding an asterisk the same font...
Hi, can't make one? Found this on google.

Thanks but the font that I need would be very hard to create as the characters are so thin and curvy :-

Thats the monotype corsiva font (found on Microsoft Word.)
Alpha Tappits (alphabet cutters) all include the '&' sign but it is not included in the script stencils
Just got an e-mail from a different site (designer stencils) and say that they now contain the '&' sign. Now, I don't know if its worth me paying all that money ($40 / £25). I don't know how often I'll use it. should I just settle for the cutters?
that's good that I registered on this site,I was just wondering, now I have the answer, I'll make a delicious cake and well decorated, thanks for the ideas ^^

I don't have that font on my Word
Here are some ideas...
is it possible you could down load the font from the web? I am thinking this is a pay font but I could be wrong...it's worth searching for "free monotype corsiva:
use another font that it close to it and make your own template, if you don't have one go browse through the zillions of free font sites. I don't think it would be a huge deal using another font with it being the & sign. If it were an actual letter that would be different and more noticeable. I have seen plenty of text on cake that use a different font for the first letter of the word as well as any "extra" characters. It gives it more pop.
ask anyone of us on here to send you that character via email and you could print it out and make your stencil. I can do that if you want.
Hope it you find what you are looking for. Have a great day.
I know this is an old post but it came up while I was doing a search for cake stencils. I was looking through some alphabets stencils on a website and they sound like what you were looking for, so just for future reference maybe I can help somebody else out...this looks like what you were describing
