? Is it just me or did she want a 2 more tiers on top of the castle?? Maybe I just don't understand hillbillie? And yes, what I am picturing in my head is VERY scary! I was so cautious about the wedding dress I picked out because I didn't want to look at my pictures in 10 years from now thinking "what the hell was I wearing??"- wondering what she will be thinking in 10 years? It's people like this that make me think you should pass some kind of test before you can have kids...but then again I have come across people who can't even figure that one out

I'm completely shocked at how poorly written that e-mail was.

I have 2 college aged kids that text constantly and I can assure you all THAT is not how they speak or write.

THIS e-mail is sad, really.....I don't know what else to say about it

Oh my goodness! I almost did not believe it was real. Can you really type that badly!? Wow. Sad. As a teacher I want to vomit. I have kindergartners who say "you like mineS" yes MINES, drives me nuts, I repeat over and over again that MINES blow up, its mine. Poor kids, they think I am a looney tune, meanwhile I do not want to be the teacher responsible for OPs miserable email conversation!

Ya know Deb_ thanks for that because everyone is always blaming teachers. Yes, there are teachers who go to work to collect a paycheck and keep their hefty benefits and add to that nice pension but there are others who really want to teach. And yet one day a student will go somewhere and say "you like mineS".

Wow! When I read things like that from people who have no concept of how to communicate using the written language it just makes me feel like they are sitting beside me talking non-stop like some sugar hyped teenager. I'm not the best at sentence structure, but that was horrible!

I would have emailed her back and said "HUH?" I am so glad that I actually went to school at a time when cell phones and computers were virtually nonexistent. My grandmother (an English teacher) would have boxed my ears if I had ever written something such as that.

My brother (not the sharpest tack in the box) wrote a letter to the judge during his divorce/custody proceedings. Thank GOD he asked a sister to look it over for him. First thing she told him was, "You're righting to a judge, not to one of your buddies. The word "U" is spelled Y-O-U."

The letter ..... that would be given to a JUDGE ...... was written in text-speak. And he couldn't figure out why that was a problem.

Oh my goodness. "righting"to the judge and she questioned Y-O-U? I am now having to cross my legs to stay here and read on...

This must be the month for me for crazy cake request. I just booked this cake. I asked them why they wanted a cake like this and they had no reason other than it was "cool."

I researched the cake and it was originally made for a stuntman and woman for their wedding. I think it is wierd even for them. Great work, but wierd.

They probably saw it on Cake Wrecks. Jen listed it as a "Sunday Sweet" one time. Personally, I think it's awesome!

As for the witch bride, sounds like she's using her wedding as advertisement for her business. Have a goth wedding if you want, by all means, but geesh! you don't use your wedding cake as a buildboard for crying out loud!

Anyone can make the occasional mistake or typo, but people who don't even make an effort to communicate using standard spelling and grammar rules make me think that they don't have any pride in themselves.

Do you think she was writing like that to get sympathy? Like maybe she thought you would thing she was poor and uneducated or something. People have crazy ways of thinking.

She also added 2 pictures- one of them from Couture Cakes. If that's the kind of work she expects for her budget, she is in for quite a surprise. She's for real and she's real scary. I read that posting and thought to myself, "Run. Run far away." Upscale cake pictures, poor grammar, and the words "best deal" just screams problem bride to me.

Oh, come on guys. Don't be *Mean*. It's not a stupid request. She has $300 odd dollars for this spectacular cake. And she's a bride. She *deserves* this cake of her dreams. Bride status automatically entitles you to such privileges right?
