Hi

Has anyone on here baked a pink lemonade cake from scratch? All of the recipies I'm finding use a cake mix and I refuse to use a cake mix in one of my cakes...especially one i'm selling to a client. I've never heard of pink lemonade cake before today and I'd like to give it a try and see if I want it to be in my list of flavours. I think it'd be great to do little girls princess cakes with.

thanks in advance.

I have made one where I added 2 of the sugar free "water bottle" sized packets of pink lemonade to my batter for flavoring. I started with one, but felt it would be better with two (IMO). I also used the lemonade ones for the buttercream. It was a huge hit!!!!!

Edited to add: I replaced the other flavorings with these and added them in with the sugar in a vanilla cake recipe.

Hi ~ Just wondering if you found a recipe. I have a cupcake cookbook and found a scratch recipe. I never tried it, nor am I sure how you'd adjust/convert it for cake pans. Anyway, if you want it, PM me and I'll send it to you. (I'd say post a reply here, but I'm afraid I may not have time this coming week to monitor topics in which I have posts.) icon_smile.gif

Could you use this one and sub pink lemonade concentrate for the lemonade concentrate?
