I made a cake last Wednesday for a soup kitchen and didn't get it finished in time. I was hoping to deliver it to another on Sunday but there wasn't one. Is it still good enough to deliver to the soup kitchen today, It's been frosted the whole time? I'm hoping the frosting kept it fresh enough.

TIA,
Kat

You can try - but I'm guessing that it's probably pretty dry on the inside. I like all the cake to be eaten within 4 days of baking.

I agree, sounds like you'd be pushing it. Cake keeps a long time and there is probably nothing wrong with it... but I wouldn't put your reputation on the line.
