Hi everyone!
By any chance, does anyone know if meringue powder has an expiration date?
I have some leftover a couple of months ago and I was checking the container and there is no expiration date...
I was just wondering.
Does anybody know?
Thank you and have a good day!

I want to say it has a shelf life of a year or so. I'd use it if I had it sitting around for a couple of months.

I keep meringue powder in my pantry at all times for when i want to make cookies. I wouldn't hesitate to use it. I've had some in there that was six months old and it still was fine. hth

This is going to sound odd, but if it smells 'off', don't use it. I had some tucked away that I had missed and upon opening it, realized that can was a no-go.

I think it's a year once opened.
but like Tracy says, do a smell check.
