I posted this in another forum here on CC, but thinking it over, it might be better here.

I would like to make either ice or icicles for a cake that I am doing. Was wondering how I would go about doing that if I were to make them out of sugar? I haven't really played around with casting sugar or pulling it, but would not be opposed to trying it out.

Thank you!

www.lorannoils.com

go to gourmet then recipes and see the list with icicle??

or maybe this will get you there faster

And let me disclaimer that yes I have done this with my pyrex ware--but I have heard conflicting reports about it not being safe--so be advised of that at least. I've heard that people's pyrex has exploded and I've heard that pyrex was being made the wrong way in recent years--who knows --anyhow.

Kate,

You rock! I use lorann oils all the time, and NEVER thought to look on their website! Thank you, I bookmarked the page icon_biggrin.gif
