Hello,

I decided to make my son's second birthday cake myself (very good idea, really) and on top of that I already told everyone...

So I finally decide to make a square cake, half white cake and half chocolate. (Yeah, my family is quite complicated).
I really don't know what kind of filling I could put into it.
I would want two different fillings (one for the white cake and one for the chocolate cake)...

Also I want to finish it with a frosting (still don't know which one) to decorate the cake as I want to make a race car kind of cake.

All suggestions and advice or ideas will be welcome...

Sophie from Belgium.

What a bout a caramel filling (made with a can of sweetend condensed milk) and then a milk chocolate buttercream. I have done this and it has been a hit with my customers. Have you ever worked with fondant. Cover it in fondant and then you can do any color you want for the race car theme. Good luck!
