Hey eveyone, i have a lil question

I am getting some edible images printed out of some school logo's. (first time doing anything with an edible image)

I am putting the image onto gumpaste so I can make a plaque.

Is there anything i need to know before I attempt to put the picture on to the gumpaste?? Or do i just put roll out the gumpaste and lay the edible image on to it??

Any tips or pointers would be great

I made a cake for someone with an edible image and expected it to be really difficult but it wasn't. Mine actually came with a backing paper on to keep it more rigid until it was used.

The shop where you buy them may have their own tips for their own images. I was told to put it in the freezer and the backing will easily peel away. I just lay in on my cake, (in your case the fondant) and the moisture from the fondant is what makes it stick. I thought you'd have to use glue/water.

Not sure if they're all the same so check when you pick it up what they recommend...but it really was easier than I thought.

It's simple. You just have to make sure your gumpaste or fondant is moist enough to adhere the the image. I just did one for my latest cake. I moistened the area with a tiny bit of water (just damp) and placed it on the fondant. Those images will stick to any tacky/moist surface. I use them for work and it doesn't take much water to melt the image sheets. Once the sheet is in place you don't have too much time fro adjustments the sheets absorb moisture quickly and begin to soften.
