My birthday is coming up next week and my husband wants me to pick out my birthday gift. I'm terrible at these things. We usually spend no more than $150 on each other.

I've thought of an airbrush (even if it's a little more money) but I'm overwhelmed by choices. I'm open to any books, DVDs, cool cutters, etc.

So if it were your birthday, what would you ask for?

Sugarshacks fondant dvd (i have the buttercream dvd and the stacking dvd, they're awesome).......a kitchenaid (on sale of course, but i have seen them for $150).......a beautiful silver cake plateau (maybe i could find a square AND a round for $150). Any of these would be at the top of my list.

My birthday is next week too...the 7th. My dad's is the 11th.

No idea what you should get, just wanted to wish you a happy birthday!!!

The airbrush sounds good though, that's what I would get if I had $$$ to spend icon_biggrin.gif

I'd ask for lace molds or flower cutters. I just can't afford those right now.

Happy early birthday Bellatheball and Texas_Rose! My birthday is next week on the 8th. Been trying to decide for about a month now what I want too! I think due to the limited space, not only in my kitchen but in my whole house, I am going to ask hubby for a locking storage cabinet to put in the carport for all my cake stuff. Bellatheball, let us know what you decide!

Airbrush, cricut ($184 for the small one at walmart). molds/veiners (flower, lace, beads, etc), dusts/colors, gumpaste tools. I too am trying to decide what I'm going to purchase. I've saved up some money & dying to get some cake toys.

My mom's birthday is the 7th and mine is the 18th! Happy Birthday!! Anywho, first on my list is the Ateco silicone mat and a good rolling pin. Next would be an Agbay or Sugarshack's Boxes and Bows DVD. You know you can go on Global Sugar Art and make a wish list. That way he could suprise you! I love suprises...

i don't know. i usually spend my birthday money on bills. good luck. but, if you had to twist my arm, i would pick a cricut.

Agbay is awesome! I bought the double, but the single is now upgradeable! So you can buy the single now, and when you save up a little more- make it a double!!

Cant go wrong with Sugarshack DVDs!!! I have them all and watch them often just to absorb her genius!!! I know I've become 1000 times better because of her!

I have an airbrush which I only use every now and then. I got sucked into the cricut madness too, it's cool, but a lot of trouble (for me!). Edible image printer was neat too, but again, I dont use it often :/

Sounds like SugarShacks DVDs would be a good purchase, also I'd get some colored petal dusts, buckets o' fondant to try cuz sometimes I get tired of making my own and that baby mold that looks so real it's creepy!

I have been looking for a good mould for people and babies what mould are you refering to about the babies. Out side of that would spend the extra money on gadgets like cutters mats things that I would use more often and for more things than the airbrush or the printer don't get me wrong would like to have those things but don't think the use would warrant however would love to have a printer You could pretty much print anything you wanted

Thats my wish

I would definitely want an airbrush and compressor! But I would be glad to get some lace molds, an edible printer and some sugarflair icing colors(not sure if the name will get blocked). I am an americolor girl all the way. But I found a great dark brown when I took Aine2's class in August that I fell in love with from them! I usually get a poo brown color with everything. But this one was spot on perfect! Oh, I would also love to have more pearl, petal and luster dusts!!!!
