I was asked to make a smash cake for a 1 year old with no sugar and no egg whites. They requested a carrot or banana cake. I'm at a loss here...any help???

I say use Splenda and an all yolk cake recipe. Would that work? If not they sell the egg substitute stuff at the grocery store.

Don't feel that Splenda is appropriate for a cake to be eaten by a baby.

Okay I just got word...the cake cannot have any sugar, sugar substitues or egg whites.

Any recipes?

Thanks! I may give the applesauce one a shot. Like I told the grandma, I'll do what I can and Benjamin (the birthday boy) will be the only one who knows if it tastes bad and he doesn't have much to compare it to icon_rolleyes.gif

So that's two votes for the applesauce cake (also found in my healthy recipes thread). icon_smile.gifthumbs_up.gif
