I have a cake due Saturday and Im making my own butter cream iceing for the first time. I'm using Edna's recipe. My question is how long does it stay fresh for? Can I make it tomorrow night and put it in an airtight container in the fridge until I use it to decorate Friday? Should I make it Thursday night? Friday right before I use it?

TIA for the advice. I've never made my own before so lets hope this comes out good. I'm just so excited to use my new kitchaid!!!

I have never used that recipe for b/c but I believe that most b/c will last about 1 to 2 weeks depending on the recipe and where it is being stored. With that being said I belive that you should be okay. good luck
