I ice my cakes in BC and store them in the fridge. Sometimes when I bring them to room temp air bubbles start popping up through the BC. Why?? What can I do to stop it from happening?
I haven't had this happen yet so not sure why it is. Are you pressing down on the icing when you smooth it out? Are they small air bubbles or large?
complete newb here so this might be way off but are you over whipping your BC? I had that happen once when I whipped it too long. Hope someone can help!
It's not air bubbles in the BC.... It's like there is an air bubble under the icing that pops out after the cake is at room temp.
I just saw video that said this was due to too much moisture on/in the cake! I will try and find the link for you!!
