I have an art college friend who is a fantastic graphics person, who designed my logo in exchange for a cake. The problem is, I am not sure how to go about a tagline, without being boring or over the top.
I'm not going to post my logo, because it's not quite done, but it has a lotus blossom to convey our mostly organic approach to baking.

business name: "name" custom cakes (pretty simple)

A bit of info:
~ I'm a sculptor/visual artist so I wanted to sort of convey that somehow.

This was all I could come up with, but they are probably taken a million times:
"Artistic cakes for all occasions"
"Sugar in the round" (as in sculpture in the round) but I hate that one...too sugar focused

Does anyone have any other ideas, please? I feel guilty asking for help on this... (are taglines often copyrighted?)

thank you either way icon_smile.gif

"We make incredible cakes...naturally!"
(fabulous)
(artistic)
("Specializing in)

"Tasteful... as Mother Nature intended!"

"Lot-Us bake up a masterpiece just for you!"
(okay, that was silly, but I couldn't resist. Ever since I saw a sign for a taco shop that said 'Taco 'bout good!' I've been a little off-kilter with the tagline giggles.)

I like "Sweet Art", but it may be copyrighted I'm not sure.

"Artfully Sweet"

"Creative Edible Art for all Occasions"

I know. I never get them when I start a thread. I just always have to go and check. But I get the emails if I post on a thread that I didn't start.

Me too!! I was taking it personally! icon_biggrin.gif Maybe it will get sorted out eventually - everything seems to be settling down now Jackie & Heath are back around!

Sorry, OT. K2, I wish I had a great idea for a tagline for you. I'm not very creative when it comes to that kind of thing. Mine is "Cookies, Cakes and Treats" - pretty basic! I will keep thinking though...
