I bought some chocolate pearls at my local cake supply store. A 10lb. box was about 40.00. The ones I bought were all white (on the outside) but you can buy them in many colors. I thought they were a great idea. I really hate hand rolling fondant pearls for the bottom of cakes. More people would be willing to eat these and they would save a ton of time. They are along the same line as the little chocolate candy called sixlets. I think they might be made by them to. Except these pearls are 12mm I think. Anyone else seen them or tried them? icon_cool.gif

*On another note what is going on with CC. Will it ever be the same again? The slow forums and pics are killing me!!!

I've never tried them before. My bake shop has the standard white ones. No chocolate... icon_sad.gif

Oh I know what you mean. It's so slow and the pictures take forever to load at times..and on the forums. I hate double, and triple posts.

I've never seen them anywhere around here. Would love to know more. Can you post a pic?

Yep, thats them! Looks like I got a pretty good deal paying 40.00 for 10
lbs! At 6.99 a lb. there, then shipping costs would have cost me twice as much!

I would still like to know if anyone else has used them and liked them. icon_smile.gif
