O.k. so I have a list I want to try of flavors, I made a scruptious Almond WASC mini muffins and some Chocolate WASC that were awesome too. I had some raspberry preserves and when I filled the almond cupcakes I lost the wonderful almond flavor....what do you do for samples? Should I make smaller cakes rather than cupcakes? should I not fill and top? I just am making for me and my kids, I don't want the expense of making cakes, any ideas? thank you...

I think mini cupcakes are great sample sizes! Now if it's for a wedding, I would fill them and top them with frosting.

But if you own a shop and they are just sitting on a platter, I probably wouldn't go to all the trouble of filling them.

No, they are just for me...I want to try some of your terrific flavor combos, but I lost the wonderful cake flavor in the mini's...Yesterday I had about 96 mini's from 2 WASC batches... this morning I think I have 10, before breakfast....lmao
At least I know as I try recipes out they won't go to waste...between my kids and their frineds and my neighbors there won't be any waste.
