This cake has been the biggest thorn in my side....and the customer is my own mother! :S
Okay, the cake is for my grandfather, who is turning 80. She wants it as a sheet cake (11x15), with him and my grandmother in a car, with his golf clubs and guitar in the backseat. And then, signs all the way down the road....however, nothing to do with old age, etc. So far, I have want to do a sign for his birth, their marriage, signs with the kids' names, etc.
The ones I am having trouble with are:
A sign for their 50th Anniversary
A sign to do with moving, but not saying where they went (WHY NOT?????)
A sign for great-grandchildren (I am doing one for the grandchildren that says "Caution Grandchildren Ahead)
I don't know why the moving one can't say where they left/went...my grandparents moved from Manitoba to BC (Canada) and loved both provinces.
So any suggestions would be great. I am tempted to cut out the moving sign, and just put some suitcases in place of it....same with the great grandchildren sign. If I cut those 2 out I still have 10 signs to make.
