I have a large order for 300 mini cupcakes and I'm trying to figure out how to transport them. I thought about pizza boxes, but I'm worried they won't be deep enough. Has anyone tried this?

Most places won't sell their pizza boxes. I tried to get one before to transport some gumpaste flowers and I tried Domino's and Papa Johns and Pizza Hut and they all said it was against company policy to sell me an empty box.

I think you could fit a lot of minis in a sheet cake box and you could stack those.

I dont know if you could git them all, but sheet cake boxes I think would be better. But if you get ahold of some pizza boxes, those would work also.

yes pizza boxes would work. instead of going to the big name pizza places go to a local neighborhood pizza place and ask if they will sell you the boxes. i have gotten pizza boxes from my local pizza place. their boxes are generic with no logo on the box. hope this helps..........

I buy plain white corrugated pizza boxes from an eBay store. I use them for transporting miniature treats - brownies, tartlets etc. They are very good, very sturdy, but they are only 2" high. Most mini-cupcakes with frosting are too tall for that. I've always had to use taller boxes.

I have purchased the plastic cupcake holders from them - clamshell type - and you can buy small quantities of those. It looks though like you have to buy case lots of the boxes and inserts.

Sams Club sells their regular size cupcake inserts and boxes, not sure if they have minis.
